Michele Kriegman

I have been honored, humbled, and supported as a member of teams that allowed me to produce and write for ABC News, Slate, Maine Public, NTV, TV Asahi, Tokyo Broadcasting, and Info Security Professional, among others. Most recently, I'm excited to share that after my editors at Lilith Magazine submitted one of my essays, it was recognized by the American Jewish Press Association with a 2024 Rockower Award for essay.

When I was still working in corporate tech, I reclaimed my birth-name, Suzanne Gilbert, to write and indie publish the 2014 novel, Tapioca Fire. It is the prequel to The Birth-Fathers’ Club Series {novels ROCK MEMOIR (2021), From a Desert City by the Sea (2021), and Finding Faith: a memoirish novel (2022)} brought out by Reunion Land Press under my adoptive/legal name, Michele Kriegman. All four novels bring together family forensics, friendship fiction, and found family through interlocking stories with unique voices. This journey has turned me into a genealogist, accidentally, and you can find me on all social as Michele Kriegman, Accidental Genealogist.

After nail-biting but worthy work in cybersecurity and in Japanese-English interpreting, I produced and edited the Mobile Content Developers' & Translators’ Learner Dictionary of English-Simplified Technical English & Simplified Technical English-Japanese: STE英英・STE英和学習辞典 (2017 & 2nd ed. 2020).
