Michael Shainsky

Michael "Mikhail" Shainsky is a Soviet born American author, librettist and composer. He is also a world traveler and cycling enthusiast - when he finds the time between being a dedicated parent, entrepreneur and Executive Director of the Dr. Joseph Shainsky Foundation, a nonprofit providing free sightseeing tours to US veterans. Michael's roots are in a family that has been contributing to society for over a century and includes, among others, legendary composer Vladimir Shainsky and Dr. Joseph Shainsky, a prominent physician and humanitarian. The combined efforts of the Shainsky dynasty have delivered food for thought, food for the soul and many long-lasting happy moments to well over a billion people worldwide.
