Jen Forsthoff

Jen strives to bring a message of hope to families who are gifted with a special-needs child. When she and her husband, Lucas, received the diagnosis of Trisomy 21 for their daughter Charlie, they discovered a new calling to embrace the role as the parents chosen for Charlie. With this calling, Jen brings a message to share with parents and caretakers on a similar journey. She shares personal experiences along with biblical truth to strengthen readers and move them to a place of victory and strength. Every parent, whether they are caring for a special-needs or typical child, has the opportunity to rise up and parent with purpose and passion. Jen lives in southeast Michigan with her husband and three children. She is an author, advocate, and worship leader at Cornerstone Church in Highland, Michigan.
