Michael O'Connell

Michael G. O’Connell has always been a storyteller. Though a native of the Sunshine State, his work often takes a darker turn. He earned his first writing credit by participating in a Twitter experiment in which he collaborated with Neil Gaiman and hundreds of others to write a novella.

His short fiction has appeared both online and in print, including in the anthology Wyrms II, Bacopa Literary Review, Free Flash Fiction, and on a number of podcasts such as Kaidankai: Ghost and Supernatural Stories and Mystery Review.

O’Connell’s poetry has been featured in Dracula Beyond Stoker, Winter Wonderland from Bindweed Magazine, The Raven Review, As It Ought To Be Magazine, the anthology Moss Gossamer, and Turning Leaf Journal.

He is currently writing and illustrating a middle-grade horror novel.
