Ray Cummings

Dr. Ray Cummings has pastored churches in Mississippi and Alabama for over 20 years and has been in the ministry for the last 33 years. He now resides in Purvis, MS, and serves as Senior Pastor of Hattiesburg Community Church. He graduated from William Carey College in 1992 with a bachelor’s degree in Pre-Med. He attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, where he received a Master of Divinity with a Languages Degree in 1996 and a Doctor of Ministry with a specialization in Church Growth and Evangelism in 2001. He has been married to his partner in ministry, Amanda Burge Cummings, since December 6, 1997. They have four children: Carter (and his wife Hope), Camron (and his wife Makahla), Moses, and Mercy. Ray loves preaching, writing, hunting, and anything sports-related.
