Stephanie Ormond Cuffee

Stephanie Cuffee is a native of Queens, New York who spent her professional career in the Hampton Roads area after graduating from Hampton University. Stephanie is a retired educator who has over thirty years of teaching experience that specialized in character development.

In 2004, Stephanie was recognized by who’s Who Among America’s Teachers a recognition that honored our Nations’ Most Respected Teachers. In addition, Stephanie is a co-founder of Technique Training Concepts, Inc. which was established in 2002. This program mission is to teach proper athletic techniques to children while encouraging them to reach their full potential in athletics, education and life skills.

In 2008, Stephanie was included in a documentary, Able and Willing: An Untapped Talent Pool. This documentary shared stories of how people with various disabilities were able to overcome obstacles with the encouragement of mentors, internships and specialized employment opportunities. Stephanie was one of those highlighted mentors in the documentary.

During Stephanie’s teaching career, she eagerly participated in writing social skills curriculums for her school as well as in her community. Stephanie has written her first children’s book, Talking Sheep: Using Self –Control that incorporates her knowledge of character development with the addition of humor.
