About the Author

Lorraine is a passionate teaching lay minister and an enthusiastic speaker at events, groups. and churches. She is an engaged leader and facilitates teaching a weekly online community.

Over the span of forty years, Lorraine has passionately served in mentoring, modeling, and instructing in the way of Christ. Her warm personality and Gospel message of grace captivate hearts young and old. Her extensive background includes training, leadership, and program development with individuals and groups in the corporate, political, and ministry realms.

As an interdenominational pulpit supply teacher, leading and instructing Sunday evening services, facilitating and heading biblical studies to serving in the ordinariness of her days, Lorraine is a genuine, authentic, real, human being.

As a former therapist, she specialized in individual and group counseling in the fields of post-addiction treatment, adult disabilities, and trauma.

Lorraine's long-term endeavor has been serving her region as a community advocate and educator experienced in spiritual abuse, trauma, partner violence, family systems, disenfranchised populations, human service agencies, and disabilities.

Early in her career, she published weekly as a photojournalist. She has also published numerous devotionals and biblical articles in the US as well as internationally.

She is a promotor of health and wellness, reads and researches diverse material, is an enthusiastic nature photographer, avidly gardens edibles, plants and flowers, is a fermenter of foods, and gains much pleasure walking and hiking trails. She is community centered, thrives on interconnecting with new people, engaging in meaningful relationships, lively conversations and is a life-long learner.
