Alison Jackson-Carter

Alison Jackson-Carter is the founder of Enlighten PR, a DIY consultancy that teaches entrepreneurs and small business owners how to be their own publicist. She has worked in the media for 20 years first as a journalist writing for local newspapers, national newspapers, magazines and then working for 5 News, Sky News and finally ITV's This Morning programme. She then moved over to PR where she worked as a consultant for some of the biggest PR agencies specialising in delivering national news coverage before moving in-house to work for consumer focused legal businesses.

She set up Enlighten PR in the middle of the pandemic to support struggling small business owners and has helped them to achieve hundreds of pieces of media coverage through her Facebook group Get Seen, Get Heard with Alison Jackson-Carter.
