Edde Blyth

Edde Blyth is a lay philosopher predominantly of Zen Buddhism and Taoism. After tiring of the pace of modern life, he began to seek an alternative way to live. Turning originally to yoga of which he is an ardent student and teacher, he came across the philosophies of the Far East. These ideas and concepts naturally appealed to what he was seeking as a means to explain the appearance of this world. From the basic teachings of Buddha such as 'All this world is an illusion' and 'We suffer because we are ignorant', he began to peel away the layers of the ego. After many years of self exploration he began writing short essays on metaphysics and fundamental philosophy.

His works incorporate alot of sayings from the teachers of old, spanning from ancient Greece, to the Bible, to Chinese Zen. These sayings help facilitate and explain the fundamental principles that underlie experience and existence.
