Barbara Lamb

Barbara Lamb has worked in over forty countries on behalf of a number of international agencies, along the way gaining many insights into local and regional politics, history and conflicts.

At times, her assignments have been certainly adventurous and, at times, dangerous. Her concern with what she has seen happening in Eastern and Central Europe, has led her to write PERIL. Though fictional, the book reflects her shrewd identification of some perilous political machinations that have potentially enormous consequences for all of us in the western world. History has a habit of repeating itself, particularly if we fail to value its lessons. PERIL underscores this.

Barbara is a long-time lover of political thrillers including but not limited to Daniel da Silva, John Clancy and Helen Macinnes. She has created a heart-pounding, page-turner that leaves you wanting more.

She has also written a children’s book, and is planning a sequel to PERIL.

Barbara appreciates her family, friends, travel, art, music, sports and a good game of bridge.
