Gene Aronowitz

During his 88 years, Gene Aronowitz was a jock in his adolescence, an underachiever in high school and college, and later, the recipient of a master’s degree and a Ph.D. He was a U.S. Marine reservist, social service and mental health administrator, public official, and management consultant. He’s married with four progeny, each now approaching retirement age. He plays the harmonica, a baritone ukulele, and a Djembe drum. He dabbles in genealogy, volunteers, and is a practitioner of A Course in Miracles. Aside from his four recent books in a literary vein, entitled "Brief Memoirs," "The Fanciful and the Mostly True," "Travel Light and Other Explorations," and "23 More Memoirs," he’s the author or co-author of seven articles in professional journals or other media, and the editor or co-author of seven books.
