I was born and raised in Chicago. My love for writing started after college when I began to write in journals about daily life. I have a master's and bachelor's degrees in business administration. My late father was a big influence on me because he was an avid reader and encouraged me to be one too. My current inspiration is my mother, Alice, and the love of my life, Rose.
