Effie May

Effie May is a children's book author from California. She wrote her first books in kindergarten, tales full of adventures, lonely parrots, lost cousins, and more. Growing up, she spent almost every waking minute outside climbing trees and conducting science experiments. Now, she hopes her books can foster a similar love for exploration with the younger generation. As a former environmental educator, she brings nature lessons and quirky animal behavior to her stories! When not cooking up her next book, Effie May loves to bake cookies, play with her cat, and camp in the woods.
