Hasting Washington Johnson
Hasting Washington Johnson was born in Nassau, Bahamas, on
September 10th 1970.
His parents Hasting and Lillian Johnson were natives of
Eleuthera.
Hasting currently serves as an Acting Medical Officer at The
Department of Correctional Services (A Prison in Nassau Bahamas)
and has been doing so for approximately 13 years.
His forte not only includes medical treatment of his patients;
but he is also a skilled team manager and Biblical financial specialist.
A trained McDonalds manager since age nineteen, he has
worked nationally and internationally.
A medical doctor by profession, he is the husband of one wife
(Dr. Rhea Johnson) and father of one son (Hasting Joshua Johnson)
and two daughters (Sarah & Ruth).
The couple prefers to be titled: Ambassadors for the Kingdom
of God.
Their passion includes teaching:
1. “Essential elements of Health”
2. “Sex Education for Parents”
3. “Principles for economic Stability “with emphasis on the power of
debt free-living.
One of their greatest achievements is their decision to live debt
free in a Debt stricken world.
On May 31st 2012 they paid off a substantial student loan,
incurred whilst in medical school.
Payment of this fifteen-year loan was accelerated and paid off (eight
years ahead of the calculated date of completion).
He and his family now follow biblical guidelines with respect to
borrowing and lending as outlined in his first book: “Debt & credit
Laws – A Biblical Perspective”.
Hasting holds a Bachelor of Science in the field of Zoology with
a minor in Botany from The University of the West Indies (Jamaica
1995).
In 2005 he obtained his undergraduate degree in Medicine and
Surgery from the University of the West Indies Faculty of Medical
Sciences (Trinidad).
His job experiences include national and international experiences.
His relentless desire is to follow the word of God in its entirety.
Dr. Johnson is convinced that the “borrower is slave to the
lender” and “that warning prevents trespass”. He is a
Biblical Kingdom Citizen at heart and a national visionary for “A Self
Sufficient, Debt Free Bahamas”
