S.C. Burgess

S C Burgess is a queer author from Hertfordshire who has a passion for writing, tea, and houseplants. Books have always been an escape for them and they hope to gift that same escapism to others.

They firmly believe nothing beats a cup of herbal tea that takes far too long to brew, and frankly never tastes quite as good as it smells. Being an insomniac and a serial procrastinator S.C. tends to do most of their writing in the early hours of the morning when all sane people are tucked up in bed.

As an author their writing typically end up on the dark and twisted end of the spectrum, but as a freelance writer they enjoy writing almost any genre. They were commissioned by The Juicy Bits Birmingham, to write a script for their Feel the Squeeze project.
