S. D. Murdoch

First, let me thank you for visiting my Author Page. I know there is a lengthy list of writers to research here, and I'm very grateful for your time and attention. After a long career in the construction industry, I began to write out of the pure enjoyment of storytelling and have since produced four books I named my "Field" series. I would categorize the genre as modern-day sci-fi/action-adventure, with the stories revolving around Pete Scanlon, Mike Standell, and an assorted cast of family, friends, and protagonists. The storyline begins with the newly revised edition of my first novel, Into the Field, which chronologically sets the stage for Return to the Field, Death From the Field, and my latest work, Damned to the Field. I truly hope that you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed writing them. I currently live in the western United States, where I spend most days following my favorite sports teams, savoring good coffee, and contemplating the mysteries of life.
