Slava Faybysh

Slava Faybysh was born in Ukraine and immigrated to the US as a child. He translates from Spanish and Russian, including an Argentine true-crime novel set during the dictatorship years, an early-twentieth-century book of letters on divorce compiled by a first-wave Spanish feminist, and an anarchist memoir from 1909 Spain. He has also translated several short stories and plays from Kazakhstan, published in venues such as the Southern Review and The Common.
