Mark M Moore

Mark Moore has had a long and varied journey through life, faith, and in political activism. As a young man he was the Communications Director for the Young Republicans of Arkansas, but left the party and became state chairman of a minor party. Venturing back into Republican politics in a professional capacity, he helped a state senator win two state-wide primaries, the last time as Campaign Director. The Senator told the newspapers that Mark was "the best policy guy in the country." In 2008, Mark was the Communications Director for Congressman Ron Paul's Presidential Campaign in Arkansas.

In much the same way that Mark never found an institutional "home" in the established political parties, he never completely "bought in" to any particular denomination of Christianity. Yet here the experience was the opposite of his political journey in that he found something to appreciate in a number of them. His projects take him around the United States and the Moore family have a fair sampling of the church in the United States. Unfortunately, they have found serious concerns there as well.

He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, with a B.S.B.A. degree majoring in quantitative analysis. As a young man he was an officer in the U.S. Navy. After his time in the Navy he taught science for a number of years before moving on to private industry. Mark and his wife Melissa have three children.
