Charles W. Ross

Charles W. Ross is the author of the popular Prohibition-era murder mysteries "A Serving of Murder" and "A Dangerous Dig", a Detective Mat Finnley and MJ Bartlett Murder Mystery series. Prior to these two projects Ross wrote the four-volume series “Tamsen’s Chronicle” it's a fact based historical well researched adventure story about two remarkable and resourceful 18th century women. Tamsen and her daughter, Rachel, who endure unbelievable hardship to save their family. Tamsen is also his sixth great grandmother. He found her life story while researching his family history. Prior to this project, he has published, "Making Wooden Jigsaw Puzzles", 2010, Fox Chapel Pub. Inc. And after 25 years of research in October 2014, he self-published through Amazon a book on his wife’s genealogy "Grills and Birds of the Forest". This was followed by a three-volume set, "The Ross, Kunkel, and Wilson Family History", self-published by Amazon in October 2015. His earliest project was the writing of “Computer Systems for Occupational Safety and Health Management, 1st ed, 1984, Marcel Dekker Pub. 2nd revised ed., 1991, Ross resides in Frederick, Maryland with his cat Callie.
