Christine Durkin

As a kid growing up in the marshes, forests, railroad bridges and blueberry bogs of rural Wisconsin, I came to enjoy the companionship of the adorable little creatures who inhabited them.

I found comfort in the presence of these amazing turtles, frogs, toads and even snakes who helped fill these long summer days.

This is the inspiration for my story.
