Laura Raatz

Laura (Wagner) Raatz was born and raised in a small town in Wisconsin on her family farm. Having played on the University of Wisconsin-Marinette basketball team, she graduated with an associate’s degree from that northeastern Wisconsin university.

Laura is happily married to Tyler and loves spending time with their fur-babies. Devoted to making a difference in the lives of those around her, she is a motivational writer and speaker, owns a leadership training business with her father as well as a vacation-rental business. An independent consultant with two companies, she also does missionary work and is part owner of her family’s fifth-generation dairy farm. She loves CrossFit and enjoys being active in sports throughout the year. She enjoys hunting, fishing and camping with family and friends. Laura has coached basketball on all levels for many years.

Having become interested in writing after reading her father’s book, “Teachable Moments”, she’s grateful for the opportunity to partner with him on this project. Laura is excited to make an impact on others by sharing her personal testimonies and the resulting lessons she’s learned.
