J. S. Castro

J.S. Castro began writing as a child to cope with night terrors. J.S. was able to turn those horrific dreams of his into short stories that others enjoyed reading about. In 1979 as a Junior in high school, one of J.S.’s stories was submitted into a Nevada state wide contest for young writers, and he won. Thus began his love for writing Westerns, horrors and thrillers, many that JS has written over the course of his lifetime. As an Ex-Military Veteran, and a Third Degree Martial Arts Black Belt, he has incorporated his army and Tai Kwon Do adventures into his book “A Gunslinger’s Reckoning.”
