M C Dixon

M C Dixon is a forensic accountant by day, but by night she lets her mind wander into fictional worlds full of imaginary characters and fun adventures. She grew up in a four-generation family restaurant. She is the creator and author of The Adventures of Larry the Hot Dog. It was her time spent participating in the family business that helped to inspire these adventures.

G R Dixon is M C’s ten-year-old daughter! Together, they created Daisy the Donut. Daisy is no ordinary donut. Every day, she is picked up by a new friend—maybe a photographer, a paramedic, or a dental hygienist. Each day brings a new adventure and with that a new book in our series, “The Adventures of Daisy the Donut!”

Skilled/technical occupation fields are the fastest-growing career industries in the country. Daisy will introduce children to these careers through a series of fun and engaging adventures at an early age.
