Ben Pienaar is the Aurealis Award Winning author of Holly and the Nobodies and Carve Your Soul to Pieces, and other shorter works. He works and lives in Melbourne Australia and writes bittersweet, noir horror with supernatural and fantasy elements.

In his spare time he enjoys a random mix of hobbies including martial arts, chess, surfing, and drawing. On Friday nights he can be found sipping mezcal and watching horror movies until the early hours.
