Lauren Eileen

Lauren Eileen searched in vain in children’s literature trying to find herself, and her LGBTQ+ community, represented on the page. So, she wrote the kind of inclusive and loving stories she sought, using her more than forty-year real-life friendship with Valerie as a foundation.

She lives with her teenaged son, Anthony, in Massachusetts, where they enjoy staying active. Her favorite thing to do is laugh.

Lauren and Val Take a Walk is her first book.
