Otha Foster has been writing since the eighth grade, because that was when he learned to type. He’d actually wrote stories before that, but his handwriting was so bad no one could read them. He was raised by conservative religious parents who taught him that was dancing was a sin, because it would lead to premarital sex. He was not long into adolescence before discovering that was a lie. Still, he lived most of his life within most of the rules of his upbringing and has had little experience of the more exciting events of his characters. He taught writing to fourth graders and shared with them the joy of writing about characters who misbehave. Besides teaching, he was involved in ministry, social work, oilfield, corrections, and other low paying occupations. He would prefer to avoid trolls, although they are often great sources for characters. Feedback is welcomed at otha585@gmail.com.
