Patrick Galbraith was born in Edinburgh in 1993. He grew up in Scotland and studied English literature at Bristol and University College London before dropping out to become a writer. He has covered everything from naturism to cheese making to salmon poaching. His work has appeared in The Times, The Telegraph, The Spectator, and the Observer. He is a commissioning editor at the independent book publisher, Unbound, and he a columnist The Critic and Country Life.
