Michael Brian

Michael Brian is a longtime journalist, and “The Witch of the West” is his first foray into fiction. Having grown up in the deserts of Arizona and Southern California, Michael has long had an interest in Westerns and the stories of the West.

He also recently wrote "Detective Wolfram Gets a Case," a pulp detective story that was published in "Adventures on the Go, Book 2." He currently is working on a young adult novel about a boy stranded on an island during an apocalypse. After that, he plans to return to the Western genre.

In his spare time, Michael reads (and then reads some more), and loves exploring the outdoors with his wife and two children. Michael lives in the Chicago area.
