Ed Tar

Ed Tar began his exciting writing career as a journalist and anchor in radio and television news in Michigan and Ohio. Moving to Los Angeles in the late 1970's, he expanded as a writer, journalist and independent producer of television documentaries, short films, and live events.

His work has been honored with numerous awards from organizations across the U..S. including the International Film and TV Festival of New York, The U.S. International Film & Video Festival, The U.S. Industrial Film Festival, The California Newspaper Ad Executives Association, and he was honored with a Hollywood Angel Award.

He earned his BA degree at the University of Detroit/Mercy..

Ed lives in Los Angeles with his wife, painter and former actress, Pat Gainor
