Mr. Sharana Basappa

Sharana Basappa is an Electrical Engineer by profession. He graduated from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India in 1968 and completed his post-graduation degree in Electrical Control Systems Engineering, MSEE, from the University of Houston in 1970.

He worked as an electrical engineer and project manager in the consulting and construction industry in Canada, the USA, and other countries across the globe. He has mentored many in the fields of both engineering and life.

He has left a mark in the industry as a formidable engineer, excellent manager, as well as a motivating mentor with a total commitment to excellence. He is known for his character and integrity when it comes to righteousness in work and life.

The book title looks a bit catchy, but it gels well with the true story of my life. And certainly helps anyone who clearly understands his or her Nature early on in life and moulds himself or herself to suit the environment to be as successful as he or she desires in life. If he or she is fortunate enough to find a good mentor in life can lead a happy and successful life.

The initial motivation for this book was to share his life story with his grandchildren, but after writing there seem to be many life lessons that could inspire anyone who sets their targets high enough.

Now I have published another book, my 2nd book called "Golden Nuggets For Better Bridge", and this one is for all who love to play Bridge and become advanced players. Playing Bridge is one of my favourite passions, and it is my way of sharing my Bridge knowledge with people. This is a unique book that combines the values of ACBL Card filling and explains the least understood convention called Doubles and also paves the way to become ACBL Life Master. I have included the story of my journey to become the ACBL Life Master to inspire all.
