Laura Mayer

Before writing the children’s book, Owen’s Own Bed, for her first son (and then sharing it with the world), Laura was a literature, writing, and history teacher and then ran an education company to help students thrive. She now spends her days playing with balls, blocks, and trains with her two young boys and spends her nights and weekends writing The Gentle Parenting Way, a children’s book series focused on easing toddlers and preschoolers through normal challenges. Her second book, The Lion Inside: A Story to Teach Young Children and Adults about Anger, will be released December 9th, 2022.
