I am Susan McElligott MA Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have dedicated my life to raising a family while investing in my own personal and professional development.
I have been in private practice as a clinical hypnotherapist for over 20 years and have successfully helped thousands of clients overcome the most difficult challenges. I work with children and adults and my approach is unique, challenging but light-hearted.
End-of -life care was a role I found myself in with my own mother. I have written about my experiences in my book 'Mind Your Thoughts' and it is my hope that it will bring some comfort to others in similar circumstances.
I wanted to give back to society, so I volunteered in a local hospice offering support to the bereaved as well as doing art classes with the patients. My thesis for my Masters was on the lived experiences of the caregiver in end-of-life care based on an 'existential perspective.'
My mission is to teach people how to find meaning in their lives, to not only survive trauma but to thrive in spite of it. I aim to do this through my writings and trainings.
