Rose Steele

A registered nurse since 1974 until her retirement in July 2022, Dr. Rose Steele, BScN, MSc(Nursing), PhD, has had an eclectic career in nursing. From acute care surgical nursing, to a variety of intensive care settings with adults, and then to both adult and pediatric palliative care, her profession allowed her to work in many areas as a clinician, a researcher, and an educator. Rose loved all the aspects of nursing that she has been part of and feels privileged to have shared her professional life with so many people, including most recently students and research participants. Her fervent desire is to help others and she hopes that her books will play a role in meeting that goal.
