A Georgia peach, Kate Maclean grew up in historic Savannah and spent much of her childhood reading Nancy Drew and Hercule Poirot mysteries on her backyard swing. This lifelong lover of mysteries and crime dramas now lives outside Washington, D.C., with her partner and their cat.
