Charles Black

Charles Back (pen name Charles BLACK) was born in Liverpool England in 1945 and emigrated to Australia with his parents in 1950. As an only child he was enrolled in the Royal Australia Navy at the age of 15 and served twelve years as a radio operator and code breaker during the Vietnam conflict. When his service time ended, Charles studied to become a Secondary English and Art teacher in Perth Western Australia, a position he served in for thirty one years. He then graduated as a Clinical Naturopath and worked in that capacity for the next twelve years before attaining a Masters degree in Psychotherapy. After four years working professionally in a Perth clinic, Charles retired, and he now lives in Western Australia near his two daughters and four grandchildren. Charles is a keen golfer, paints in oils and acrylics, and has to date written eight thriller novels.
