Jessica Vendetti

Jessica Vendetti is a mother, grandmother, and a passionate advocate for nature and the environment. She currently owns a small shop in Northern Michigan. She has a diverse background, including being a certified yoga instructor since 1972 through the Golden Lotus Yoga Teachers Association and a Reiki Master Teacher. With expertise in Commercial Art, Desktop Publishing, and Early Childhood Education, Jessica is dedicated to using these skills to make a positive impact in the world.

In addition to her yoga instructor and shop owner work, Jessica deeply loves monarch butterflies. She has created a certified Monarch Waystation called Marigold Mountain in her backyard, where she grows milkweed and flowers, the two essential elements needed for the survival of monarch butterflies. Jessica's passion for monarch butterflies extends to raising them, flower gardening, and photography, among her favorite hobbies.

Inspired by her real-life experiences with monarch butterflies, she has embarked on a writing journey to share her stories through a series of children's books, with "The Adventures of Marigold Mountain: A Monarch's Story" as the first installment. Her books aim to educate and inspire young readers about the wonders of nature, the importance of environmental conservation, and the magic of monarch butterflies.

Jessica hopes her books will spread awareness about monarch butterflies and inspire others to create monarch-friendly habitats and protect the earth for future generations.
