Anne Lavallee

Anne is a Canadian Muslim, born and raised in the Temiskaming Shores area with her 3 siblings. After graduating from high school, she then moved to Ottawa, Ontario, to further her education. She graduated from the Library & Information Program at Algonquin College with honours.

She always dreamt of becoming an author, and that dream has become a reality with her first picture book, Abby and Amina.

Anne finds reading, baking, cuddling with her cats and being in nature very therapeutic. She enjoys watching animated movies and playing board games. She is a huge animal lover and enjoys activities and crafts where she can be creative.

She wants people to know that it’s okay to be different and not to change for others. She currently lives in Leeds & Grenville with her two cats, Layla and Koda.
