Stefan Hartmann

Stefan Hartmann was born in Texas but lived in Italy and Germany from age 7 to 15. He grew up unschooled. His early education comprised of reading fantasy books, exploring medieval Italian castles, playing airsoft in the German forests and learning foreign languages. He traveled extensively in Northern Italy and Switzerland competing in tennis tournaments. The Lombardy lake country and Swiss Alps were the inspiration for the Alpiner's Raven series.

Stefan now lives in Florida and runs his own medical practice Iron Direct Primary Care.
