Book lover and former Story Hour Lady, Kelli is a nurse who pens stories for her Story Hour crew. Topics center around fun crafts the group did together or difficult topics around health.

Kelli also ventured into adult fiction loosely based on experiences from nursing and life long ago, as a creative outlet for growth both as an author and person during the pandemic. The Lizzie Morgan, RN adventure series takes a jaunt through serious topics of "old school" nursing, a nature to fix everyone around and not ask for help, domestic abuse, and funny explorations of a few different nursing specialties. They are unfused with funny situations and conversations, undying optimism driving her through, and a glimpse of romance. Though serious subjects are present the books are meant to be fairly light, fast moving, and humorous.

The Magic Seed Series books compliment a fun craft activity to do with your kids. A magic seed appears with a note or instructions to plant it. Kids plant it and wake up to a fully grown treat in the morning.

North Pole Peppermints are everyday red and white candy peppermints. You decorate a can or flower pot or use a mug, any container will do. Have your child plant the peppermint. After your child goes to bed, exchange the peppermint for a candy cane. The story has the involvement of an elf but mentions other possible ways you can come across a special North Pole Peppermint, so no elf required.

Magic Easter Seeds follow the same idea, but your seed can be anything you say it is; an egg shaped bead or button, a sunflower or pumpkin seed maybe painted, etc. The idea is your child gets the seed and a note from the Easter Bunny telling them to plant it. You can copy the note in the book. After they go to bed, exchange the seed for a lollipop. I also like to sprinkle a pinch of glitter near the pot to make it more magical.
