Anthony Raymond studied cognitive psychology and computer science at the University of California, San Diego—where he became fascinated with how technology shapes human behavior. His books explore disturbingly plausible futures in which societies are run by intelligent machines, algorithms engineer desire, and humanity unplugs from reality. His aim is to sell enough books to purchase a tree house in Asia and watch the A.I. apocalypse ensue from a safe distance, whilst consuming Dr Pepper and popcorn simultaneously.
