Sheila Robinson EdD

Dr. Sheila Robinson is the founder, Publisher and CEO of Diversity Woman Media a multi-faceted company that helps customers drive and deliver business results through diversity, inclusion, and talent development initiatives. She is the visionary and creator of Diversity Woman magazine, Inclusion magazine, the Inclusion Innovation Summit, the Business Leaders Women in Tech Conference, the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Conference and her signature event the annual Diversity Women’ Business Leadership Conference. She serves with the most influential organizations that are working to foster equity, equality and inclusive workplaces, including: Paradigm for Parity (Advisory Board Member), Catalyst (Strategic Business Partner), Executive Leadership Council (Media Partner), Women’s Business Collaborative (WBC - Chair of Diversity), Twitter (Member, Inclusion Diversity Council), Simmons College Institute for Inclusive Leadership (Board of Advisors) and Take the LeadŽ Women (Board Member).

Dr. Robinson’s career has been devoted to closing the gender equity gap through providing the expertise and tools for women to overcome barriers and advance their careers.

Fifteen years ago Dr. Robinson left her rising corporate career to launch Diversity Woman Media, a multi-faceted company that helps customers drive and deliver business results through diversity, inclusion, and talent development initiatives. DWM’s product offering includes year-round conferences and events for business leaders; two publications, Diversity Woman (business leadership and career advancement for professional women) and Inclusion (Diversity & Inclusion content targeted to business leaders and diversity executives); and a job board for multicultural women.

Previously, across a 14-year career at a Fortune 100 company, Dr. Robinson rose from the working on the factory floor to the executive office, ultimately directing public relations for a $6 billion division of a global company.

Dr. Robinson is the author of two books: Lead by Example: An Insider’s Look at How to Successfully Lead in Corporate America and Entrepreneurship (2014) and Your Tool Kit for Success: The Professional Woman's Guide for Advancing to the C-Suite (2017)

Her track record has made Dr. Robinson a coveted member of a number of national organizations that foster equitable and inclusive workplaces.
