I've been fascinated by stories and storytelling for as long as I can remember. My earliest memories are of long car rides with my parents where I would make up long and rambling stories in the backseat of the car. The first books I remember being drawn to were illustrated adaptations of Indigenous Australian Dreamtime stories. After I'd finish reading them, I'd be inspired to write my own stories that focused on the spirits and creatures of the Australian landscape. I studied History, English and Classics throughout my schooling and university which might explain why my debut novel is a work of historical fiction.
I've been fortunate enough to live in five different countries, learn a lot about different cultures and meet some incredible people on my journey. It doesn't matter where someone is from or how they grew up, everybody has a story to tell.
The photos you can see on my Instagram, my website and here on my author profile are from reader's who have sent my snaps of their pets with my debut novel 'The Path of the Vestal'. I love animals and I hearing from readers so if you'd like to have your pet featured please reach out.
