Scott Maier

Scott is an artist, educator, and author. His three published books include The Field Guide to Landscape Painting in Oils (David & Charles), The Little Book of Oil Painting Secrets (David & Charles), and See, Think, Draw: An Easy Guide to Realistic Drawing and Beyond (Get Creative 6). He currently teaches at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. He has spent years designing global curricula and video workshops. You may also recognize his work from Artists Network and Artists Magazine, where he is a frequent contributor.

He holds a BFA in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and an MFA from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks.
