Rook wrote their first story when they were 8 years old. It was about a unicorn in a shoe store because they were (and still are) a huge Brony. Since discovering Lord of the Rings and anime when they were twelve, they've spent the last decade writing fantasy stories and fanfiction. As an otaku their waifu is Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail and their husbando is Shigaraki from My Hero Academia. They are aware that they are cringe. As it was said before, they've been a Brony for most of their life. You can't get more cringe than screaming about ships between background characters in My Little Pony.

Rook is also an avid cosplayer and an artist. They like theatre, too, and starred in their friends' full-length indie film Guardians of Hazina.
