Wendy Brazill:
As a young mom Wendy Brazill , felt anxious and stressed out, she found cannabis gave her the needed relief. She raised her children during a time when marijuana was illegal, so she would grow a plant on the balcony, hidden from her young family. Wendy had always wanted to explain to her children why after just a few moments of daddy time, She would come back happier and relaxed. As Wendy’s children grew, medical marijuana became legal. but there was still a stigma around pot, so she hid her use. On those especially rough evenings when she would partake, storytime became longer and conversations were deeper, she would relax and enjoy parenting more, and no doubt the kids did too.
Now that a total of 36 states have approved medical cannabis programs, and 18 states where it is legal, Wendy’s hope is that this book helps parents have the conversation, she always wished she could.
