Wendy Gallagher

Wendy Gallagher grew up in North London and spent most of her childhood playing in the nearby fields with her brother Tony, their dog, and local friends. This adventurous outdoor childhood was greatly appreciated and helped Wendy to connect to nature in a way that stayed with her in her adult life. After years of building her own business and bringing up a family, Wendy discovered her love for editing and writing children's illustration books during the lockdown period. Also, her 81-year-old mother, Margaret KM Andrews, started painting various characters and naming them. While Margaret painted her way through the lockdown, Wendy walked the same fields from her childhood and was inspired to write and edit Margaret's art.

Together, Wendy and Margaret have created five of the Pink Patsy Adventure books. Children love the vibrant illustrations and the kind stories.
