Thomas L. Norris

Tom has taught in the Religious Studies Department of Florida International University since 2005 but has also taught psychology at the university level for over twenty years. With fifty-four years of counseling experience, he is the head of the spiritual and pastoral counseling agency, Inner Life Transformations, where he and his staff provide counseling for people worldwide. Tom is also the founder and senior minister for the Universalist Church, Medicine Signs Spiritual Center. Throughout his career, he has been a social worker, hypnotherapist, past life regressionist, and individual, group, marriage, and family therapist. He has a Master's Degree in Social Work from Barry University.

Tom is the founder of The International Guild of Certified Spiritual Counselors and Coaches, which is creating a skilled workforce and professional community in this burgeoning, new field.

In 1997, Tom was called to the ministry and obtained Masters of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry Degrees from the Florida Center for Theological Studies. He lives happily with his wife Cate in South Florida and is the proud father of a son and daughter, and four beautiful grandchildren. He is working on two new books in the Fresh Cup Series, A Fresh Cup of Spiritual Living: 52 Ways in 52 Weeks to Change your Life, and A Fresh Cup of Liberation: 21st Century Liberation Theology.
