David Sahner

David Sahner is a prize-winning poet and physician-scientist whose poetry has appeared in The Bitter Oleander, Van Gogh’s Ear, Connecticut Review, Catamaran, The Sandy River Review, Agenda, Blue Unicorn, Tears in the Fence, Foliate Oak and elsewhere. He has also published critical work on the poetry of Wallace Stevens. Dr. Sahner is a member of Pegasus Physician Writers, which collaborates with the Medicine and the Muse program at the Stanford University School of Medicine. His work is forthcoming in a Pegasus anthology, and his poetry collection, Hum, is slated for publication in early 2022. Dr. Sahner is also author or co-author of a number of scientific research papers and abstracts. His interests include artificial intelligence, medicine, and biology. David Sahner was born in New York City and lives in Santa Cruz, California.
