K.S. Haddock

Born in Seattle, but raised in Silicon Valley, K.S. Haddock has been storytelling since he was old enough hold a pen. After university at UC Irvine, Haddock moved to San Francisco, where he has resided since. After publishing The Patricidal Bedside Companion in 1994 via St. Martin's Press, Haddock wrote two more novels (unpublished, Thanatics and MIddleman) before turning his attention to musical theatre. He has won three Best of San Francisco Fringe Awards for his musicals: Thanatics, A Rock Opera (2006), Hell, The Musical (2009), and Hitler in the Green Room (2017). He has recently finished a new novel, Imagine My Surprise! and is seeking a traditional publisher. Additionally, he played mandolin and jaw harp with The Gravel Spreaders, releasing two albums, Metal Hee Haw and Skidmarks.

Haddock lives near the beach in San Francisco's Parkside district.
