Ian Pattison is best known for creating and writing the BBC2 Network television comedy 'Rab C Nesbitt' for which he wrote all 67 episodes. He has created and written other BBC series including 'Bad Boys' and 'Breeze Block'. Other theatre work includes plays about Irish freedom fighter Michael Collins, Psychiatrist RD Laing and the self- styled modern dandy Sebastian Horsley. He has published five novels. He drinks a lot of coffee.
